Troodos Mountains
The Troodos mountains stretch across most of the west side of the island and are a favourite place for people to visit, the Troodos district is around Mount Olympus and this is also surrounded by several districts- Machairas, Pitsillia, Solea Valley, Marathassa, Krassochoria.
In winter you can go skiing in the mountains and then go sunbathing on the beach in the same day.
There are Many churches in the Troodos area and around nine of these are included in the official UNESCO list of cultural treasures of the World's heritage.
