Paphos Fort

Paphos fort is a popular tourist destination and is very easy to find. Just head for Kato Paphos and you will see Paphos Fort at the end of the harbour.

The Fort was originally built by the Byzantines and was rebuilt by the Lusignans in the 13th century. Since then it has passed hands a few times and has been strenghtened, lastly by the ottomans.

This is a picture of the Fort taken from one of the main tourist streets in Kato Paphos-
