Northern Cyprus is a very hotly debated subject and for very valid reasons.
There are plenty of estate agents selling properties and land in Northern Cyprus, Purchasing land or a property there is very very risky and you are at a serious risk of loosing it if you do take a gamble and purchase a property there!
In 1974 Turkey invaded the Northern side of Cyprus and effectively split the island into two. Turkish Cypriots inhabit the Northern side of the island and Greek Cypriots inhabit the Southern side of the island.

The illegally occupied Northern side of the island " The Turkish republic of Northern Cyprus" is not recognised by the British government. As the land in the north of the island is not lawfully owned by the Turkish Inhabitants they have no legal right to sell it! Recently cases have been won in the European court of human rights which has recognised the rights of Greek Cypriot refugees to repossess their property and Land.
